Octavio Diaz Named New ALPOLIC Director of Sales
(CHESAPEAKE, Va.) Oct. 13 – Mitsubishi Chemical America’s (MCA) ALPOLIC Division, a leader in metal composite material (MCM) manufacturing, is pleased to announce it has named Octavio Diaz as its new director of sales.
Previously the senior manager of corporate identity sales, Tavo, as he is also known, has been a well-respected member of the ALPOLIC sales team since 2002 when he was hired as an inside sales representative. Since then, he’s held several sales positions within the division’s architectural, retail, and commercial market segments across the Americas and is known by many in the industry outside our borders from overseeing international sales.
“ALPOLIC has been my home for many, many years, and I’m honored to be given this opportunity,” said Diaz. “Building relationships has always been a priority to me and that will be even more prevalent in my new role. ALPOLIC is held to high standards, our customers expect only the best of us. I look forward to continuing to be a resource for them.”

Diaz holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Dowling College, NY and is an avid baseball fan, having played at a high level in college and beyond prior to starting his sales career. “Playing sports teaches you a lot about teamwork, especially the concept that when you win, you do so as a team,” said Diaz. “Each person is valuable, and I am part of a fantastic team.”
