ALPOLIC’s Operation Encore: Globally Responsible Solutions for Architects

ALPOLIC Mitsubishi Chemical America is pleased to introduce a new program, OPERATION ENCORE, that emphasizes not just the recycling of our Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) and Metal Composite Material (MCM) but also finds practical and innovative ways to use materials that in the past would have simply been discarded as scrap.

The recycling aspect of OPERATION ENCORE allows for the handling of expired ACM/MCM panels as buildings are renovated and re-clad. We will accept expired ALPOLIC products, separate them, and place the components in appropriate industry recycling streams. With ALPOLIC products now virtually 100% recyclable, Mitsubishi Chemical America continues to show the Company’s commitment to the environment and sustainability.

But the responsible handling of recyclable materials is only one side of OPERATION ENCORE. We’re also exploring relationships with innovative designers and architects who can use surplus ALPOLIC materials for such socially important needs as Urban Renewal Projects, disaster shelters, and more.

Through the continuous development of state-of-the-art products and ideas like OPERATION ENCORE, ALPOLIC Mitsubishi Chemical America is moving our industry further into a position of environmental and social responsibility.
