ALPOLIC Dominates 2012 Architectural Record Advertising Excellence Awards

Esteemed architectural publication Architectural Record announced the winners of the 16th Annual Excellence in Advertising Awards at this year’s AIA National Convention & Design Exposition.

Looking for the most effective advertising, a jury of ten architects from around the U.S. reviewed 170 print and online campaigns in the building and design marketplace. The awards recognize the companies and agencies responsible for the creation of ads that excel in the world of architecture and design.

This year, ALPOLIC dominated the online category, taking home two awards for our timber and stone series advertisements. Our ad campaigns, both print and online, are about appealing to architects’ creativity while remaining relevant and memorable. The ads are meant to not only showcase the materials, but the endless possible applications. We strive to inspire an innovative use of our products, and our advertising is a reflection of that goal.

The judges perceived our animated video campaign as both informative and purposeful. Serving as an attention grabber, each of the four featured ads allowed us to enter a realm of advertising not traditionally seen in this market. In addition to creating a unique user experience, we developed a character with personality that could represent the ALPOLIC Brand.
