ALPOLIC® Announces Lamination Line Expansion

Lamination Line at ALPOLIC

(Chesapeake, VA., July 2007) - ALPOLIC®'s state-of-the art United States manufacturing facility in Chesapeake, Virginia upgraded their production capabilities to better meet the needs of the ever-growing global market. As the American operation of Mitsubishi Chemical Functional Products of Japan (the world leader in both volume and quality for architectural composite materials), ALPOLIC®'s modified plant will produce the most sophisticated Fire Rated Aluminum and Metal Composite Panels in the industry, as well as ALPOLIC®'s standard PE panels.

"We are committed to the North American market," said President Masafumi Ryu. This expansion, the first of several that will ensure the continuation of their leadership in both panel finish and lamination technology, clearly supports that statement. The new lamination line will take ALPOLIC®'s already efficient operation to the next level, and reinforce their solid reputation for innovation, style, and performance.
