About Project of the Year

Winner will receive, free of charge, inclusion and promotion in a future native advertisement sponsored by ALPOLIC, plus paid promotion through ALPOLIC’s social media profiles.

Eligibility:

  • Projects completed January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2025, are eligible.
  • Projects with ALPOLIC MCM product used are considered.
  • Projects submitted for consideration must be in the United States, Canada, Mexico, or U.S. Territories.

Submission: 

  • The submission period will run through April 17, 2026.
  • Please submit one project per form. Up to five submissions per entrant, per category are allowed.
  • Project information, images, and their attribution will be reviewed for eligibility.
  • Photos of projects submitted must be in JPG or PNG format.
  • Voting will occur via online social ballot from April 26 – May 31, 2026.
  • The winning submissions will be announced in June, 2026 at AIA ’26 and promoted on our website and social media.

2026 ALPOLIC PROJECT OF THE YEAR OFFICIAL RULES

  1. The ALPOLIC Project of the Year contest is sponsored by Mitsubishi Chemical America – ALPOLIC Division for the purpose of promoting architectural projects in North America featuring ALPOLIC metal composite materials.
    1. Projects submitted for consideration must be located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, or U.S. Territories.
  2. There is no fee required to submit entries.
  3. Photos of projects submitted must be in JPG or PNG format.
  4. Submissions for the contest open on January 26, 2026 and close on April 17, 2026. Submissions are accepted only through the online form.
  5. Photo entries will be uploaded to our social platform for public voting.
    1. Winning entries will be determined by popular vote.
    2. This contest is neither sponsored by nor endorsed by Meta.
    3. Entrants are welcome to promote their entries for votes.
    4. No purchase is necessary to participate in the voting.
  6. Contest winner will be notified via email after June 1, 2026, prior to AIA ‘26.
  7. Contest winner will receive, free of charge, inclusion and promotion in a future native advertisement sponsored by ALPOLIC and paid promotion through ALPOLIC’s social media profiles.
  8. By submitting photos to this contest, entrants may give consent to Mitsubishi Chemical Group to use images of their projects for promotional purposes.
    1. Promotion may include but is not limited to: inclusion on ALPOLIC site gallery, social media posts, blogs, case studies, and general content creation.
    2. Promotion may include allowing affiliate companies limited use of images of the property with their promotional materials which are designed to promote ALPOLIC and ALPOLIC products.
  9. ALPOLIC reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or contrary to the official rules.
  10. Contest is void where prohibited by law.
