A playground pavilion in the Copenhagen Central Park that was once covered in graffiti has been transformed by MLRP Architects. The existing structure has been redesigned to simulate a funhouse using minimal resources. As the doors to the “Mirror House” open, a new massive mirror-polished sheet is exposed for children to interact with. When closed, the building appears rather ordinary. Only in the daytime is the exterior of the building exposed, which was reconstructed using heat-modified wood and mirror-polished stainless steel sheets.

According to MLRP, the renovation is one of three projects to modernize the park. The other two will be completed this year. These sorts of modernization projects will further the advancement and value of the area.
